The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) has required that government and businesses place Tactile warning pads like these at crosswalks, on bus and train platforms, at elevator and escalator entrances, and in other areas that might be hazardous for pedestrians.
These ADA pads are designed to be installed in wet-set concrete and after the concrete has cured the domed pads can be unscrewed from their base feet in the concrete making them replaceable and easy to maintain.
