ADA plates are the ideal tactile warning surfacing solution for pedestrian safety. Each plate is designed to assist visually impaired pedestrians to recognize by sound or feel where nearby traffic or elevation changes are present. The Cast in Place style ADA plates are made to be installed in wet set concrete during installation. After the Access Tile plate has been installed and the concrete cured then the plate can be unscrewed from the base feet and replaced as necessary. This easy replacement feature makes the units popular with municipalities and commercial businesses.
