Watts 957-NRS-GXG-FS 6 - Part of the 957 Series
This 6 IN lead free stainless steel reduced pressure zone assembly backflow preventer help stop the reverse flow of liquids due to backpressure or backsiphonage, where potential health hazard exists. It has NRS groove by groove gate valves that work well in limited headroom situations. The easy maintenance assembly consists of positive seated torsion spring check modules, bottom mounted differential pressure relief valve, non-rising stem resilient seated gate valves and top mounted test cocks. The temperature range is 33 to 140 degrees F (0.5 to 60 degrees C). The maximum working pressure is 175 psi (12.1 bar). This backflow assembly contains a flood sensor with SentryPlus Alert® technology to detect excessive water discharges from the relief valve. When activated through an add-on sensor connection kit, the flood sensor relays a signal that triggers notification of potential flooding to service personnel. The add-on sensor connection kit is available for building management systems and cellular communication.
