Watts 88S 1 1/4 - Part of the 88S Series
This stainless steel wye pattern strainer, 1 1/4 inch Watts Model 88S, is used in liquid or steam applications. The strainer is designed to ensure complete protection to mechanical equipment from the injurious effects of dirt, scale, welding particles or other foreign objects. Built for long service in corrosive, high pressure and high temperature applications. The bottom threaded cap is mated to the body with straight threads and is sealed off from contact with the media flowing through the strainer by a cap gasket. This prevents corrosion of the threads, thus enabling easy servicing and avoids potential deterioration of the threads after an extended period.
