Febco - LF876W-DOSY-GPM 4 - Part of the LF876V Series
This 4 inch lead free MasterSeries® double check detector backflow preventer assembly prevents the reverse flow of polluted water from entering into the potable water supply due to backsiphonage and or backpressure. This valve features a longer lay-length for drop-in replacement of competitor?s N-pattern valves. It is designed to be installed on fire protection systems to provide indications of system leakage or unauthorized water use. It has the capability of N and V configurations that reduce the installation footprint and reduce installation costs. This assembly consists of an epoxy coated ductile iron body using ArmorTek coating technology for advanced corrosion resistance construction, two in-line independent check valves, replaceable check seats, ball valve test cocks, gallons per minute metered bypass, and outside stem and yoke resilient seated domestic gate valves. The maximum working pressure is 175 psi (12.06 bar).
